Why we built this
Most SEO suites have great tools buried behind $99-a-month paywalls. If you're an indie maker, a small-business owner, a freelance marketer, or someone just trying to fix a slow blog, that's not realistic. Searchlab is what we wished existed: a clean, no-signup toolbox that gives you the same answers without the bill.
What we believe
- Free should mean free. No "preview only" results, no email gates, no watermarks.
- Speed beats features. A tool that returns clear results in 5 seconds beats a dashboard with 50 charts you'll never read.
- Be honest about limits. Some data (like full backlink graphs) is genuinely expensive to compute. We tell you when a result is partial or estimated, not pretend it's not.
- Respect privacy. We don't track you across the web, sell your URLs, or build profiles. We cache results briefly to save server costs — that's it.
What's next
We're starting with 10 tools that cover the most common day-to-day SEO checks. Once those are solid, we'll add: structured-data validators, hreflang checkers, more keyword research depth, and an optional account for saved projects. Have a tool you wish existed? Tell us.
